9/7 - Stormy Weekend - Still Fun

I started early on Thursday.
Hanging at gym bar and then splashbar.

I was miffed that I had to pay and that the price of drinks went up
but I will live.

I have to conserve myself and not do an more Thursdays anytime soon.

Friday was fun, with Russ, Durrell, and Russ as we hit up Gymbar, then G Lounge then Splash, then Mr Black (4 bars - clubs) I was even able to maintain a good party atmosphere about myself having great fun on Friday night despite the rain. Thank goodness friends are there to see you to the end of the night when you get distracted and start to drift.

Saturday despite the impending storm I headed out for a ride in the Murano, bought some juice, soda and eggs and chilled out waiting for night to fall. I rested and then prepared myself to jump out into the main event for a Saturday night. Haircut, cleaned and outfitted I was ready to claim the night. All my friends were texted and in transit. I rolled into the city with the Jimmy and Russ and started the night at G Lounge and waited for Durrell to arrive before He and I headed over to Splash.

Once inside said hi to the peeps in attendance and danced to the beats of DJ Alexander on the main floor after meeting up with Dwayne. We saw Dougie entertaining a few castmates from the Real World with their lighting tech and sound technicians in tow. Said hello to DJ Echi downstairs and danced to the pop party and R&B beats before heading back upstairs and seeing Garrett for more drinks and further dancing. We ended up staying till the very end unintentionally since I was planning to leave before 4:50am closing but DJ Alexander kept the party hopping with the beats to the very end.

Walked over to Mickey D's for a big breakfast and had some drama as they mixed up my order with some other customers and I had to wait for them to make me a new breakfast. They also ran out of Orange Juice but I made do with sprite. I said good night to Durrell at the train station and got on the train and headed home. I actually took the Q train and switched to a D train at Atlantic-Pacific. Watched Abridged Yu Gi Oh on my iTouch and laughed some and then listened to some calming R&B for the last few minutes of my trip home before getting inside the home, eating my breakfast, brushing my teeth and going to bed.

Sunday was a nice slow day, just watching news feeds and such before going to pick up lunch at Wendy's. That was a good Double. The rest of the night was calm, watching 60 minutes and such before 9pm rolled around and I watched True Blood on HBO. Loved it. The rest of the night is just chilling before bed as usual.

I wove together a complex tapestry of a nightlife ruled weekend and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I wouldn't change much and the Saturday night I think was flawless. Anyway, I will definitely look forward to the rest of the season, despite the crazy weather, it did not stop me and my friends from having a good time.

Unless there are tornados reported in central park, or lightning striking cars and blowing them up on my block, I will go out on Saturday Night.

Come with it then.

Serious Moment, is this knock-off buying RNC VP Pick for real?

I'm sorry,
Is it just me or while Palin was making her speech on stage
she gave the new baby to her "other" daughter
who washed the baby's hair with spit and was later seen (by myself and the TV Cameras)
picking at the baby's eyes.

Oh but she is so ready for the White House.

While she is out with her hockey mom trained ways wagging her finger at other world leaders when McCain is in the old folks home, her kids will be running wild with no diapers in the building, picking each other's eyes.

This is so sad.

If there are Americans who vote for this ticket because they are about "change" when all they can do is spout lies about taxes and big government then they deserve what they get. But then again these are the same people who complain about high prices right now but it is the corn lobby and the money spent on wars and not spending any money on keeping jobs in the US that has driven up prices here.

I await the debates.
